Amgen Bike Race next week/ NorCal to Long Beach

Lots of good info on the route and timing.

This will be a televised event, so I would also expect to see some media frequencies in use.

Anybody have a list from last year ?

I'm particularly interested in Alameda County and Santa Clara County freqs.

CHP was using a mobile repeater for the race.

CDF, I'm sorry "CalFire", Air Tactics 5 as the output and a 159mhz input.

I'll post the lineup when I get back near my home computer.

Lots of rental radios in use on UHF.

I never realized V-TAC was the input to the Air Tac channel. It didn't sound like it at the time.

I think that is specific to this event.

CalFire's Air tactics are not repeated usually.

Right, they did this with the last bicycle race where they setup a temp repeater using an AirTac channel as the output.
