I believe this was Installed in late 2009, but this release has only just appeared.

Radio & Trunking Distribution Inc has designed and installed a Fylde Micro Trunking system for use by Dept. of Homeland Security for the islands of St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John for their integrated 911 Emergency Dispatch system. The system is used by Police, Fire, Ambulance and other Governmental departments on all 3 islands for First Responders and Emergency’s. The Call Centers in St Thomas and St Croix direct all agency’s for their vital communication needs on a 24/7 basis. The Virgin Islands is in the yearly Hurricane path and a robust trunking system with multiple link paths is critical. Fylde MPT 1327 trunked systems provide this essential service.
