Hello Friends:

This frequency 162.2350 MHz that could be
USCG/USCostums is very active in Puerto Rico
more so early in the morning.

Esta frequencia 162.2350 MHz es bien activa aqui
en Puerto Rico aparaenta ser del USCG/US Costums.
Esta es mas activa en las tempranas horas de la manana.

Is it possible that the above frequency has been rounded and is actually 162.2375?
Also is it in analog or P25 mode?
If in analog mode, do you have a PL?

Hello John:
For the best of me the Frequency is 162.2350 MHz
and I do have a pl for this. I have to figure out how to get
it out from my 2meter handy.
I'll get back to you ok?

The frequency should technically be 162.2375 MHz, as the US Government uses 12.5 kHz steps in the 162-174 MHz band. However, your radio is probably just doing 5 kHz steps and thats what freq it stops on.

Well I had modify my ADI-201 and Even I'll not transmit
it will break scuelch on 162.2350 and when I did a voice came on
the air and said "Charly 2000 is that you"

My Pro-97 is not capable to set 162.2350 so I will program 162.2375 and monitor to see what I can hear. I had heard the following federal freqs in the West Coast of PR. Some times this freqs are encrypted but other times not.

Last night was very exiting, in this freq 165.2350/2375 MHz about 2300hrs
it was a chase going on the Borinquen Ave. the "Target" went to a house of
a person know as the "Colombiano". Then the "Target" got of in a "colmadito"
and they(The Agents) were puting a team toghether for the Take down.
Then the went to secure comms.

Anoche fue exitante en la freq 165.2350/2375 alrededor de las 2300hrs
hubo una persecusion en la ave. Borinquen entonces la TARGETA paso por frente y se detubo en la casa de una persona que los agentes consian como el "Colombiano"
siguio la marcha y se detubo esta ves en un colmadito y los agentes se preparaban para arrestarlo pero la communiicasion la cambiaron a secure y ya no pude oir mas

There is a friendly disagriment That what may be the correc frequency
165. 2350 MHz or 165.2375 MHz I copy them on 165.2350 but NOT on
the other one that is all.
Last night it was a trip, Man!!!
