I have searched the internet and other than finding out that bermuda operates on a TRS I cant find any specific programing info. Would anyone with that info (system freq, type, and TG's) be willing to help.

Thank you

Misc Notes

I didn't have much equip to monitor 2-3 years ago, while on a Cruise, but
there was much Motorola [Land] in the 800 spectrum. Some appeared to be P-25
others analog. No Trunker or other Radio to capture Sys ID's etc.

Going by Air or Sea?

i advise people going to bermuda on a cruise to not bring there police scanner on the island. when i was boarding the ship i was question by port security official. i think bermuda police scanners might be illegal.

Bermuda Scanning

Scanning in Bermuda has gone down hill. Police were on 410.025 for a long time then wentencrypted p 25 around 99 i believe. it arond the time i got the uniden digital brick. You can legally own a scanner on the island, but you must obtain a permit that never expires. ODD, the last one i got did not have a serial number on it so it could be used for any i guess. Fire and ems are all 800trs. same as the airport fd. all fire stations and the airport fd have a common talk channel as well as the ability to talk with the ATC. I left there in 2000, i will try and dig up my old files if i didnt throw them out.

Hope this might help a bit.

Chris.

Bermuda Scanning

Recently returned from a Cruise to Bermuda and have submitted the following 3 Sets of information for submission to the RR DB.
Thanks to JeffKett for the assistance on this project

**DB Admins **
I would hope that, Bermuda being a foreign Country, and that there is no Legally Available Frequency information for the Country that a little leway will be given in posting vague and unidentified user information.
** DB Admins **

Based on the VHF Monitoring it appears that VHF uses a 4.8 Mhz OffSet

I will say...all above gathered in a day and a half while docked at West End. I'm surprised that there was not much more frequency usage in other bands ??? Seems like one of the trunks is Public Safety related (the 5F26) . The other (193F) must carry everything else on the island???
Would like to hear from any of the locals!!!
