Default received modded pc 66 xl

received radio yesterday...using this radio right now @work truck. squelch seems much less. i think its a bit stronger receive in my driveway then cobra 29...considering im pretty boxed in when parked in driveway. i can definitly hear receive clearer with this unit...not sure with transmit thou. echo is pretty sharp but i SHOULDVE got a neat key-up sound rather then echo...talk back is sharp to but i feel....if u got echo...u need talkback to adjust echo just right and it not 2b annoying..........



well....let me go back to work....lol

Dude,
Why do people put that echo stuff on their radio? Do you really want to pay extra money just to sound crappy? I don't get it. I guess I never will.

I think the echo sounds cool,some sound crappy but not all,I would pay extra for it,for it,for it for it for it for it for it...........lol

Echo is for those of us(me included) who's voice sound like crap, or you actually do like the way it sounds or you just want to irritate others. If your on ch19 for any length of time, someone is bound to irritate you anyway(language, roger beep, echo, whatever), that is why there are 39 other channels(or more, wink wink) or the off switch. Later.........later.........later.........late.... ...lat........la.......l........(hehehe)

And I almost forgot, congrats on the new radio Aircargo!

Nope...haven't had one since 1983,and had two. Motorola cb-555 am/ssb base and a regency "romper".
Back in the days before echo-junk,leeny-yars!
