Cool cbradiomagazine.com

That is a suitable place to inquire. There are several videos on YouTube.com that they touch on, like the '427, '430, and a '480. Seems like a goo place to start. Sometimes the cards are marked for the dumb and ignorant people ( or robots ) who install the parts, and are easily found. Some other radios ( like Uniden ) may have similar boards.

If your son cut the mic and phone jack wires from inside the radio, could it be that maybe he thinks you're on the air too much? I know a guy's wife who did this! I just wondered...

Hello Czjog:

Look at CB.Tricks.Com
CBTricks.com Realistic Radio Index

They don't have the 457 but other simular radios are listed with schmatics. Its even possible that radio shack may even be able to get you a manual on the radio.

I am sure that if you look around the internet you will find a manual.

Good luck.

Ok, send me your email in a PM. I have the schematic ready to send. I don't always look at the threads in this part of the forum. Thus the delay.
