I have an Army CB but its not made by Cobra. It does 10w AM/FM and 25W SSB. It "slides" from 1.6MHz all the way to 60MHz and also does digital voice and frequency hopping but its hard to find others to talk with in those modes. When I try to get a radio check on 19 in digital voice all people hear is bleep-hisssssssss. Maybe I should trade it for a Cobra 138?

It is an awesome radio for backpacking, its a Harris PRC-138. A Cobra 138 is still much easier to bolt under the dash and a whole lot cheaper. Here is a pic of the backpack version and one in the 150w vehicular mount. You gotta have a pair if your gonna use all the modes....
