CB Antenna Question

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there has seen/used the Firestik DS14-FG No-Ground CB Antenna.
I am thinking about buying one. I know that it wont be as good as a regular CB antenna like a Wilson etc. Thoughts/Comments welcome.

I've always been leery of those NGP antennas. It's a compromise at best. I'd recommend it as an absolute last resort, frankly.

What is the application? What limitations do you have that are pushing you toward choosing a NGP type antenna?
