Default Midland 77104XL power problem

I have a Midland 77104XL in my car and all the sudden it died on me. I jiggled the power connection in the back and it came back on, but now it wont work at all.
Is it the type of thing that I could just take it apart and reconnect the power connections in the radio? I am just assuming that is the problem.
Anyone have any ideas. I hate to take it apart and possibly mess it up more.

Thanks,

Ian
