Use aluminum.
Around me, the mom and pop hardware stores seem to carry it in different sizes.

I want to mention, if you are going vertical, do not use a metal mast, unless it is an end mount.
(I'll assume the antenna is going to be too big to do that anyway).
The mast will act like a 4th out of resonant element, and cut your gain in half.
Use schedule 80 PVC instead.

^^ agreed.

You can also order tubing online: http://www.texastowers.com/aluminum.htm or http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catego.../me/index.html. Others too I imagine.

Default Threads Merged

Please don't start a new thread to point to an older thread.

In reference to your OP, it makes no sense, you are asking a question that will apparently have infinite answers. I'm sure in your head you understand your point, but to be frank your question makes no sense whatever. Try explaining what you are attempting to do exactly and I am sure the membership will help. Do that in this thread, don't start a new one.

ETA: Well with more of a merge, the old OP is now the 2nd post here. I have merged everything and moved it to the CB forum. 11 meter antennas are not amateur (as in Ham Radio) antennas.
