Default RADIO SHACK TRC-485

Picked up two cbs today at a yard sale for $10. One is a Cobra 21 the other (which caught my eye when I saw the clarifier knob) is a RS TRC-485 w/upper and lower side band. I brought it home and cleaned it up wired it up to a power supply and it appears to work fine. Clean display .... clean overall after a thorough wipedown. I want to ask you out there what your thoughts are on the 485?

I bought it new on close out ~15 years ago . I really liked the scan feature.
I got mine half off of the original price of $200 always happy with it.
There is a mod to add frequencies posted on the net, but I still like mine to much to risk it.
I'm jealous, If I found one for $10 I'd have a try at the mod.
I used mine daily for about 5 years then stored until a couple months ago.
Ill be using it as a base (maybe).
I have found it listed as a variant of the Roadpro Titan II RPSY-485.
Magnum 257, Magnum 357, Realistic TRC-485, Albrecht AE-485, Black Hawk, Pro Star 400 and the Radio Shack HTX-10 were all listed as variants.
Nice performance and features in a small package.
Always sounded clear when I got opportunities to hear it.
Did you get the original mic with it.?
