Yes and I reckon 1 of these would work EXCELLENT as a base antenna!!

Guys, Iv'e looked everywhere locally and online and can't find a 6" spring, only 4." Does anyone know where one can purchase a 6" antenna spring?

Just add a few radials and slope then down at 45 degree angles for a ground plane!!
