For all those that think it's all quiet in 16, may want to tune into Zone 1. Offender shot by the police at Montrose & Normandy, after on-vieweing a robbery in progress at Montrose & Forest Preserve Drive. 2nd offender is being sought now. PH-1, canines, and a cast of thousands enroute up there. Zone 1, City-Wide 1, City-Wide 2 very active...

Some good listening...1 offender DOA at the scene, 2nd offender escaped. Robbery occured at a Marathon Gas Station at 6630 W. Montrose (Harwood Heights actually) .Search was conducted around the Ridgmoor Country Club while Canine Units (4627C, 4627D, 4628C) searched. Vehicle used during robbery was recovered close by. Registration came back to a location not very close. CFD Amb. 20 responded to document the run, and stood by while search for other offender occured. After about 2 hours, search found nothing. Zone 1...it isn't what it used to be...LOL !
