Watching Better Than Listening!
Ok, so, the past Thursday morning, I was returning home from taking my child to school. Right in front of my house are like maybe 6 units with more coming! What happened was the guys and gals from 014 caught a truly bad guy who was wanted for a Robbery in Schaumburg, some crime having taken place at a Walgreens, some other charges AND the car he was riding in was STOLEN!
The units pulled the guy over, had him out of the car and in cuffs, then to a waiting squad already on-scene all within less than a minute! The offender was moving west (towards the burbs) when he was pulled over and arrested.
To top it all off, the street was full of traffic which the officers worked with to allow it to pass in such a way that no one was put at risk and the offender was transported safely for prosecution.
Sgt. Kuyken, Star#2121 was on the team of arresting police personnel and this will serve as the last big incident of his career as he is very close to retirement! Great job 014!
