Default Northwest Central Dispatch Help

I seem to be having a problem getting this system to receive on my BCT15. I have programmed the system per CARMA recommendation but I'm hearing nothing.

Programmed per this page Northwest Central Dispatch - NWCD (Lake/Cook) Trunking System, Arlington Heights, Illinois - Scanner Frequencies

Some help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

The BC15 is an analog only scanner, the NWCD system used by AH, BG, PH, PL, MP and EGV is digital. You will need a BCD996XT or another digital scanner that also supports rebanding to listen to this system. (PSR500/600, RS Pro96, 2096, 106 or 197, Uniden BCD996T, BCD996XT, BCD396T or BCD396XT)

Not making much sense with this jargon yet. According to the notes (attached below) the system is setup as a custom Mot Type 2. So this isn’t a digital APCO-25?

Fyi I do have the 996xt now. Just not running this system yet

****NOTE****
From CARMA Chicago:

I just today helped a friend get NWCD programmed into his 396T. One of our
CARMA Members posted the below some time ago after NWCD was rebanded:

1. Create the system as a Mot Type 2 CUSTOM
2. Load these frequencies
851.0875
851.5375
851.7875
851.8375
852.3125
853.0750
853.7500
856.7125
3. Set the system to "Control Channel Only". (I enter all the frequencies
because there is no guarantee on any given day which one will be the control
channel)
4. Enter a custom band plan (easy to do with ARC396 by clicking on
"Re-banded")
Lower = 851.0250, Upper = 854.0000, Step = 25, Offset = 440
Lower = 851.0125, Upper = 868.9875, Step = 25, Offset = 0
5. Set I-call to "OFF"

Using this on both my 396 and 996's and it works just fine.

Right. While the NWCDS system uses P25 modulation (digital voice) on most of the talkgroups the system itself is basically a Type II system using 3600 baud control channels and some talkgroups are analog.

True full P25 systems, such as StarCom21, use a 9600 baud control channel and all voice is digital.

Since the NWCDS system has rebanded you need to use the custom tables as indicated. This is only true for rebanded Type II systems, true P25 systems do not normally need customized settings after rebanding.
