Does anyone know as of yet if the WC3 dispatch center in North Riverside for Brookfield, McCook, Riverside and North Riverside will be on the encrypted Cook County nodes?

Yes. In the documents filed with the state, they stated that they will use their current ENC talkgroup.

Thanks for the info Bob. I'll be sure to program it into my scanners. Did you happen to submit a request to the Cook Co database to be updated?

Not sure if anyone else is aware, but I recently read a tweet from the Riverside PD stating that their dispatch services have moved to North Riverside PD (WC3). Have the other agencies made the switch yet?

Brookfield has also made the switch, as of Monday 5/7 they were no longer heard on the LTAAC channel 154.8000.

Heres a great article on the switch over. To bad they are 100% encrypted on the south Cook County node though :\

Default WC3 Police Dispatch Talkgroup

Does anyone know which SC21 talkgroup is being used for WC3 dispatch? I understand that it is reportedly encrypted, but I'd like to add the information to the Radio Reference database.

That's the million dollar question at this point. I've been doing a little bit of investigating myself and have come up empty so far. I mainly have been using Pro96Com to try to track down their talkgroup(s) using whatever RID's are available in the RR Wiki...

OK, using the RID information from the RR Wiki, I think I *may* have finally tracked down the TG in use by WC3 and the other agencies. From what I saw using Pro96Com, TG 25133 is being used. I received several RID's in the 57467XX, 57476XX, and 57477XX ranges, which would indicate that they may be affiliated with Lyons, Brookfield, Riverside, etc. I'll post photos of my results shortly.

Sorry if it's a little hard to read, the first pic is from the Affiliation List and the second is from the Affiliation Log. Using available data from http://wiki.radioreference.com/index...llinois-RID_33, it appears that RID's from TG 25133 are closely, if not exactly affiliated with the WC3 agencies, Lyons, and the others. What does everyone else think?

Hmmm.....not seeing any RIDs in the range confirmed to be Brookfield PD. Until we see RIDs in that range I'm not convinced....but that's just me.

The RID's I collected at that time were pretty close to the ones listed as being from Brookfield and Riverside, but NOT exactly the same. I have a feeling that I'm close. TG 25133 is listed as "Morton Grove Police: Dispatch", so then again, I may not be close. Regardless, I will continue my 'investigation'.

Here's Day 2 results after approx. 4 hours of running Pro96Com:

First pic is from the Affiliation List, next two are from the Affiliation Log. Once again using data from the link I provided in my previous results, I noticed a couple of RID's from Brookfield PD.
