Thanks PRCGUY. That seems like way to much work (buying a torch, aluminum solder paste, etc) just to solder on one connector. Guess Ill just order a couple feet of RG11. I never gave a thought to the fact its aluminum. Thought I could get it done this weekend without having to wait on some coax, but looks like RG11 would be cheaper than all the extra stuff I would need to buy to do RG6. Thanks.

I had an M2 2m Yagi that used F connectors and a loop of RG-6 coax for the built in balun. The F connectors handled at least half the power fed to the driven element and it was rated for 1500w so that says a lot for F connector power handling. M2 used Thomas & Betts Snap-N-Seal F connectors for the balun section.

Interesting. I just never would have considered an F connector capable of transmitting. Might give it a shot and see how well it works.
