Default Grass Fire in Colorado Springs

Grass fire in Colorado Springs across from Coronado HS on Fillmore St. Lots of response from CSFD, apparently fire is moving fast. Working on structure protection on Farnham Pt. At least 8 apparatus enroute or o/s. Sounds like stations 2, 5, 9, 18 plus Battalion 1 at least, prob a few others that I missed. On CSFD Command 4.

Now add Squad 108 @ 1410.

Add District 3.

Adding Tac 5 for for Division C, CSFD now moving other apparatus around to cover stations.

Might want to confirm it's not training they've been running wildland training for the last 2 weeks or so and it sounds very real.

This is real, media has picked it up and they're dispatching units of their primary dispatch channel, plus still moving apparatus around to cover stations.

Secong crass fire on Maizeland? Dispatching E7, E20, Brush 20, E10, Brush 10. On command 6.

Edit - sounds like these units are returning to quarters. Hard to track 2 different incidents, sorry.

No structures are threatened, but traffic is moving slowly in the area. Fire crews are on the scene.
The intersection of Fillmore and Centennial should be avoided.

Releasing a few units, at least Brush 10 and Engine 10... Sounds like they have it under control, already addressing overhaul issues.
