SUBJECT: Body Recovered from Canal

Larimer County Sheriff's deputies, Emergency Services, Dive Team and Parks units along with Loveland Fire and Rescue and Loveland Dive Team recovered a female body from the Horsetooth Supply Canal tonight.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office received a request to assist Loveland Fire and Rescue at 14:56 on Saturday, June 5 on a report that a woman had fallen into the canal in the area of the 6200-block of North County Road 29.
At 18:33 the body was discovered in the canal near Larimer County Road 25E and County Road 38E. All indications are that it was an accidental drowning.
Positive identification and final cause of death will be released by the Larimer County Coroner.
