Aurora Bank Robbery

APD is tracking a bank robbery suspect via a GPS tracker pack. Suspect is near Peoria and 25th... Dist 1 & Dist 2 patched.

I think this might go better if the dispatcher had direct access to the tracking data vs. being relayed the info.

APD has several cars stopped at Peoria and 25th. Command requesting safe street units with portable sierra tracker.

APD has a positive ID on the suspect. Safe street units still en route. Employees from the bank are on their way to ID the suspect.

The gps tracker was recovered. This guy robbed a bank 2 weeks ago on Broadway.

Yes it was bank provided in the money bag.

There's some good info in this tread, this happen about 3 years ago when they placed a tracking device in a bag.
