Division of Wildlife says a hunter is dead but no word if it's accidental

CRAWFORD, Colo. -- The Division of Wildlife says the death of a hunter is prompting an investigation.
The death occurred in the Gould Reservoir area south of Crawford, Colorado. We're told the Montrose County Sheriff's Department is en route to investigate the shooting.
Division of Wildlife officials say deer and elk hunting season is underway; however, there's no word on if the shooting death is an accident or a suspicious death.
Division of Wildlife says this is the first hunting fatal accident since 2006. We'll continue to follow the story and bring you latest on KJCT News 8 at 5.
