USFS and risk canyon fire are investigating a smoke report "large" but hard to pinpoint Riskm is on one side of canyon and USFS on the other
they say " it aint gonna get any smaller" air attack on order

The Rist Canyon incident (aka High Park fire) is working on multiple DTRS ch as well as VHF frequencies.
Stove Prairie School is staging for fire and evac center is moved to Cache La Poudre school.

At 1100 estimated to be 40-50 acres, evacs in progress for about 20+ homes.
Rist Canyon fire was dispatched around 0800.

O/F: are numerous as mentioned earlier, this is what I have heard.

Radio traffic on LC SO Tac 4, LC Fire for DTRS as well as LC Fire, Rist Canyon Fire and V Fire 21 (for structure protection).

Padadise Park evac proceeding. Fire described as aggressive in that area. Local temps approaching 90 with RH 10 to 15 %.

Evacuation center is Cache La Poudre Middle School at 3515 West County Road 54G in Laporte, PLEASE NOTE: THE ORIGINAL EVACUATION NOTICE INDICATED STOVE PRAIRIE SCHOOL. THIS HAS CHANGED to Cache La Poudre.

Single engine air tanker, Type 1 light helicopter, Type 3 helicopter and Air Attack Command plane on scene or ordered.

There are structures in the area.

Cause is unknown at this time. Appears to be on both private and Forest Service land.

Type 2 management team has been ordered.
