Light Rail Accident in Denver east of W Bayaud Ave & S Cherokee St

Hearing of a light rail train incident just east of S Cherokee St and W Bayaud Ave. They say they found blood but the train was heading away at full speed. Last I heard they were trying to stop the train.

The light rail dispatcher called it in to DPD that they had hit a pedestrian.

The pedestrian that was hit by RTD light rail is at the RTD Mariposa light rail yard near W 7th Ave & Mariposa St.

They are saying he staggered all the way there! And the train is stopped at Bayaud and Cherokee.

The pedestrian is at 655 Mariposa, second floor (Mariposa yard)and an ambulance is picking him up.

It looks like South Galapago St and W Bayaud Ave is a better location for the accident than what they were saying over the air initially.
