Grand County bus roll over

The following press release was distributed yesterday in limited fashion. It is being redistributed for those outlets who did not receive it.
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle bus crash that occurred on Grand County Road 50, west of Highway 40. A charter bus was traveling westbound through a curve when it traveled off the right side of the roadway and rolled onto its passenger side, coming to rest in a snow drift. Roadway conditions at the time were snowpacked.
The bus was transporting 39 occupants from the Foothills Bible Church in Littleton to the Crooked Creek Young Life Ranch.near Fraser. Multiple occupants were transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons, but the few reported injuries were minor.
The bus's driver, 75-year-old Harold Coiner of Longmont, was not injured. He received a citation for careless driving causing injury. Alcohol and drug use are not suspected as contributing factors in the crash.
