BRECKENRIDGE - The communications director for the Town of Breckenridge says a person trapped under a town bus Saturday night, has died.

The person was trapped around 9 p.m. along North Main Street and Watson Avenue.

A spokesperson with the Red, White and Blue Fire District said the person was a woman.

The Colorado State Patrol is now handling the investigation.

On 7/7/07 at 21:05hrs, this office was paged to respond to the corner of Main & Watson Streets in Breckenridge for a female pinned under a Breckenridge Trolley Bus. The 911 call went out at 20:55hrs. The Colorado State Patrol is leading the investigation and accident reconstruction. Toxicology has been drawn and results are expected by the end of the week. The adult female is 28-years of age and her name will be released upon next of kin notification.

UPDATE Bus vs. Pedestrian

The 28-year-old female decedent was a captain in the Colorado Army National Guard 89th Troop Command and has been identified as Lynn Scutellaro of Evergreen. She returned from Iraq last November. The cause of death is due to blunt force trauma and toxicology results are pending.
