Default Pro 106 File For N. Colo (ft. Collins)

I've had my pro 106 now for about a week. I used Phil's file and found that the scanner was a little sluggish so I've been doing a lot of tweaking of his basic "kernal". I replaced many of his freqs with the ones that I had been using in my pro 96 and this really helped with the scanner being able to receive well again. I also added some airband and forest fire freqs and activated the led lites. I'm located in W. Ft. Collins and the 106 is working great for me now!

So, for what it's worth, I will post the file and maybe others will find it useful. Thanks again to Phil for a great file and Don Starr for a super program--win 500. Enjoy and play!

That was the idea to adjust things to suit an individual's needs for the area they are in.

Multi site mode will take longer and is the nature of the beast. I would suggest setting multi site to roam to lock on the strongest CC if one's reception is that adverse.

Thanks for the tip Phil! Any thoughts on entering/storing virtual scanners? I haven't really pursued it yet with win 500.

I'm also going to have to double check my freqs just in case I take the scanner with me further south on I-25

There probably is a way to manage V-folders via the software. I never really looked into it.

I've been working with V-scanner via the radio keypad (FUNC-PGM) to store and retrieve profiles (Old habit from the PRO-96). One thing I've noted is when you go to store a profile into a V-scanner you will need to enter the V-scanner name to overwrite the previous name assigned to the V-scanner.
