Question Colorado Twitter users?

Anyone else here in the Colorado Forums use twitter? Maybe once scan America gets ate up by RR, maybe we could arrange somehow to get Jim's MNN alerts delayed on twitter? Just an idea..

For those rookies here. Jimmnn has a great service for breaking news events!

Considering the multiple ways subscribers can receive alerts directly from them adding twitter to the mix? I'm not so sure.

Getting "Tweeted" sounds like you're getting the bird. Twitter users are, at times, being referred to as "twits".

Very good points Sir, thanks for taking time to respond. The delayed alerts I was referring to where the MNN alerts on the ScanAmerica Colorado page, I guess they are delayed by an hour before being posted there. I should of made that more clear. Hope everyone has a safe weekend!

Buh, twitter. Yet another method of communication that is destined for the rubbish bin in a couple years.

Gordon from Scan America says that Twitter (radio traffic) will be coming over here once they merge..I know the the MNN pages that are delay 1 hr on Scan America. So i'm not sure if that will be moving over here too..But it's never too late to sign up on Jim wonderful service (MNN) to get instant breaking news sent to your email, cell phone, and pagers (if there still around)..I just sign up about a month ago, should done it years ago.

Not really. I read an article that said that something like 70% of users who sign up in any given month don't return to use the service after one month of usage. A business analyst said that normally you need that number to be around 40% month-to-month in order to have a sustainable growth.

See, now Facebook has been around a long time...it was just known as GeoCities in the 90's.

Yes, I'm very familiar with Geocities. I think that stat is a valid one. I know a few who rarely, if ever use Facebook now.
