I also know the University Memorial Center Staff operate on VHF radios. The Campus in the bookstore operates UHF. I have the frequencies and need to dig through my records to find them.

Well, I can confirm the changes to Silver and Gold and that the frequencies below are in the ULS Database. One small correction though, the Silver output is 155.1900 (NOT 155.199).

Also, Silver is DPL 043 and Gold is DPL 071.

It'll be interesting to see if any other changes pop up in Boulder. The 7.5 KHz split narrowband frequencies mean that the new channels won't work in any MT1000 or HT1000 radios that might still be around in Boulder County. It'll also be interesting to see if the City and County radios are re-programmed for these changes - I assume they'll need to be if for no other reason than they support CU for their football games.

Oh, and 152.9975 is also licensed (simplex only) but isn't mentioned below.

Super thanks for the additional information Brian. Here is what I have now:

Quote:
158.3025 152.9825 Platinum (police car to car)
158.3925 151.5425 Tac-4 (police tactical)
160.1175 154.5475 Event-1 (special events)
159.2475 155.190 DPL 043 Silver (dispatch)
158.955 155.0250 DPL 071 Gold (data)
Do you know what 152.9975 is used for? I can't add unidentified frequencies to the database...

For those with scanners using "Tone" squelch" you need to change your settings to what Brain posted above. C.U. switched to DPL this past week.

All city PD/FD radios were reprogrammed this past week to reflect the C.U. changes.

PD switched to Kenwood radios several years ago and are narrowband compliant. Not sure what the FD uses as they haven't paid a visit to the daytime job since they went to narrowband for their FIRE-1 and TAC-1 channels.

Gold and Silver channel repeaters are still wideband. All the narrowband frequencies that were approved by the FCC in August appear to be business radio service allocations versus government.

Okay, it looks like Platinum is the only one with a frequency changing. Should I change the platinum in the database, or just add the narrowband platinum and make a note of it?

Listening to the traffic for the football game today, I can confirm that these are correct and in-use:

160.1175 154.5475 Event-1 (special events) - DPL 131
158.3025 152.9825 Platinum - DPL 026

Silver and Gold are correct as mentioned before and in-use.

I will submit the DPL updates to the DB...
