Question Routt County Law

Routt Co law enforcement seems to be online DTRS now. Last night their law dispatch was active on the Grand Mesa site.

Does anyone know the unit numbering system for the SO and the PDs?

Does it appear to have changed or is it still the legacy numbering system? I can remember some of the legacy system and possibly find documents packed away somewhere for the whole system.

I couldn't say RF, I never heard any of it before they went to DTRS.

It appears that most of the units are PAUL and SAM which are fairly self-explanatory, but the number suffix looks like it designates the agency. Other than that, I have no additional info.

The legacy numbers were:
20's: Sheriff's Office
40's: Hayden / West Routt
60's: Steamboat Spgs
80's: Oak Creek
90's: Regional Airport

I believe 30's were North Routt and 70's Yampa.

That system may still be in use. I dont hear Routt Co on DTRS very often, but when I do, I noted that the 60's and 600's were fairly busy and seemed to be the same agency. It did seem that the 70's might have been Hayden PD though, rather than the 40's

Thanks for the info. Updates are welcome.

You're right, 70's are Hayden / W. Routt.
