Default is it just me... or does the DTRS map need updating?

trying to figure out what sites to program for the springs area... but the DTRS map on the system page appears to be very out of date... and certainly not worth a darn thing to a visitor (even tho i moved here a few months back, i am still unfamiliar with the various areas....)

can anyone take an educated stab at updating the DTRS map for the springs area?

TIA

State of Colorado Digital Trunked Radio Project July 2009

I'm sure one of these days someone will spend some time and update it.

Batdude pleasure to meet you as well. Technically the El Paso County is still not part of the state DTRS as the zone 4 controllers are not active and the sites are not linked to DTRS. And remember the DTRS map you are referring to is a product of the state CCNC and not this RR group. http://www.ccncinc.org/

What do you need help with site names, departments or control channels?

Or even check out the mapping project that Bruce has completed here...you will need a mapping program or even Google Earth

And the map shown in the Colorado RR database page is uploaded in the Wiki at:

Colorado State Patrol (CSP) (CO) - The RadioReference Wiki

If you complete it, upload it to that page and let either myself or abqscan know and we can adjust the link on the database page so that it shows the updated map.

Actually those sites and the zone controllers are connected and active on DTRS and have been for a few months now. CSP radios and talk groups are roaming through their sites along with MACs occasionally, the sites are broadcasting the D1C system ID and several are neighbored to surrounding DTRS sites.
