I seem to be having trouble programming my PRO-96 to receive the military traffic in Colorado Springs. I use the Win96 to program the scanner.
First, Peterson AFB- is all programmed in according to the database on the web. There were no control frequencies listed so I believe I found them at 407.075 & 407.9625 with a SYSID of A931. The problem here is I see the scanner stop on a freq, decode but no audio. The bank is programmed for MOT with the control freqs at MOT all the other freqs at FM. Is this correct?
Second, Fort Carson-pretty much same as above with the exception of the control frequencies. I have only been able to find one on 409.5625 with a SYSID of 5F10. I have not been able to find other control frequencies with that same ID. Again the same type problem as the Peterson system. The only receive I get is Ft. Carson Range Control and some of the active ranges. I have not heard the MP's or FD which are the groups I am primarily interested in.
No problems receiving the AFA system.
