Default Summit County

Has anyone else heard D156 being used on 154.445?

If you should have the time, could you verify the Summit County tones listed in the RR database as being correct?

I have a hunch that some have changed, but I didn't have time to reprogram a radio to search for tones when I was at Silverthorne City Hall yesterday except for 154.445. School buses were still using 156.7. I was hearing much more traffic on my radio that is programmed for carrier squelch than on the one programmed with CTCSS tones.

Great list, Mick. I'm wondering if there were of bunch of changes at the ski resorts over the summer with narrowbanding. The ski resort frequencies (ski patrol, lifts) were all active last season but I haven't been up there to see if they're accurate this year but it looks like most of them are the same based on your list. I'm also curious if command 1 is county-wide now with the simulcast system.

At any rate, are these both on the same frequency, or is one a typo?

464.1750 82.5 Keystone Ski Resort
464.1750 D156 Simulcast w/154.725 141.3 Summit Command-2

464.175 is the Keystone ski patrol, so i'm wondering if there's a typo on the command 2 link frequency...

I did hear the D156 tone on 464.175 in addition to the 82.5 tone and thought it odd at the time I logged it. Knowing how easy it is to transpose numbers there's a chance I did make an error. The next time I'm in Breck I will monitor 464.175 carefully again.

Default 154.445 twice

Now I see that 154.445 is listed twice in the database. Do we know is it still Cmd-5 and just using 156 DPL now? Or are there 2 different users on it?

154.44500 WNMQ570 RM 162.2 PL Summit Cmd-5 County-wide Command Channel-5 (Copper Mtn.) FM Multi-Tac

Summit County public safety is on VHF conventional - only CSP uses DTRS.

Actually Summit County public safety agencies are slowly migrating to some DTRS use with EMS, especially on transfers to Denver leading the way and countywide transit system also.

Are you referring to Summit County, Ohio or Summit County, Colorado?

Because DTRS does not really buzz.

He is talking about the system in Ohio. Read his other post on this thread.
