Stuck in traffic on I-25
For those of us in the northern colorado area the new narrowband VHF frequnecies for Larimer County Road & Bridge are active as of this post.

RX TX PL Desc
151.1075 155.0325 [156.7] Primary Repeater
151.1225 159.2025 (no traffic heard on this one yet)

You will need to put the PL code in for the 151.1075 frequency if you live in or around Fort Collins because the Fort Collins Streets Department uses 151.1000 for the input to their repeater so there is some bleed over. Similarily if youre using a CTCSS search function on your scanner and the PL displayed for 151.1075 is 127.3 instead of 156.7 then youve cought some bleed over from fort collins 151.1000.

Anyways, stay warm and happy listening.

Nice catch Shipshark773, I knew it would only be a matter of time before they started using these narrowband freqs. They have been licensed to the county for a while now. I have had these programmed into the radio but locked out because of the same problem that you describe.

This most likely means that the old lowband VHF freqs will be abandoned for these ones. To bad, those were the only lowband freqs left in the area.

I heard some traffic on this repeater this morning.

For those interested 151.1075 156.7pl is on Horsetooth Mountain and seems to be their primary frequency. Interesting, I am hearing more traffic today than I've heard listening for years on their old lowband freqs. They must really like these radios?

151.1225 156.7pl is at the Deadman Site or Deadman Lookout Tower. This will probably only be used in the mountain areas of Larimer County i.e. rural Estes Park, Redfeather Lakes, Livermore etc.
