Thanks for the info brother.
Sorry it took so long, but I took the information from this thread and modified the current maps we have on record to reflect the changes. Be advised that this map is NOT official and may contain mistakes and all that. It would probably be better to wait for an official map to be released before updating the maps in the database and wiki. The original map is first, followed by the attached revised map.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I included the original map for comparison purposes.

Makes sense. Thanks. I guess they have to / did reprogram the names of the TGs in their radios.

So....? Does this mean that 3A includes Longmont and 1D includes Boulder with bits-n-pieces of both cities in one or the other? Or is there going to a bit more than just hacking the county in half into 2 North/South chunks?

Preliminary data looks like this:
2301 Troop 1C
2305 Troop 1D and 1 Delta cars
2381 Troop 1A Jeffco
2383 Troop 1A Jeffco Tac
2385 Troop 1A Clear Creek
2389 Troop 1D Boulder
2401 Troop 1E Gilpin
2451 Troop 3A
2453 Troop 3A Tac
2455 Troop 3C
There's a lot of presumptions that can be made, but the above is strictly from site affiliations and voice transmissions.
Typical patch groups are:
2389, 2451, 2305
2381, 2385, 2401
2301, 2451, 2455

Remember the eastern extent of 1D is roughly a north south line thru Strasburg.

So the old 1A/1A Tac should disappear, based on what I am hearing?

2459 99b D CSP Troop 1A Troop 1A Dispatch (E. Adams, E. Arapahoe, Elbert, Kit Carson, Lincoln) Law Dispatch
2461 99d D CSP 1A Tac Troop 1A Tactical Law Tac

Here is what I am looking to update the database to show:

Existing:
Quote:
2381 94d D CSP Troop 6A Troop 6A Dispatch (Jefferson) Law Dispatch
2383 94f D CSP 6A Tac Troop 6A Tactical Law Tac
2385 951 D CSP Troop 6B Troop 6B Dispatch (Clear Creek, Summit) Law Dispatch
2387 953 D CSP 6B Tac Troop 6B Tactical Law Tac
2389 955 D CSP Troop 6C Troop 6C Dispatch (Boulder) Law Dispatch
2391 957 D CSP Tac 6C Troop 6C Tactical Law Tac
2401 961 D CSP Troop 6D Troop 6D Dispatch (Gilpin) Law Dispatch
2403 963 D CSP 6D Tac Troop 6D Tactical Law Tac
New:
Quote:
2381 94d D CSP Troop 1A Troop 1A Dispatch (Jefferson) Law Dispatch
2383 94f D CSP 1A Tac Troop 1A Tactical Law Tac
2385 951 D CSP Troop 1A Troop 1A Dispatch (Clear Creek) Law Dispatch
2387 953 D CSP 1A Tac Troop 1A Tactical Law Tac
2389 955 D CSP Troop 1D Troop 1D Dispatch (South Boulder, Adams, Arapahoe) Law Dispatch
2391 957 D CSP Tac 1D Troop 1D Tactical Law Tac
2401 961 D CSP Troop 1E Troop 1E Dispatch (Gilpin) Law Dispatch
2403 963 D CSP 1E Tac Troop 1E Tactical Law Tac
I'll update the county listings in the DB description for 1C to add Elbert, 3B to add Lincoln and Kit Carson and add North Boulder to 3A. Then remove the existing 1A/1A Tac on 2459 and 2461.

Input?

I wouldn't be too quick to deleteTG's. 2459 is up now patched to 2477 and 2305. I've seen two different affiliations on 2459. I still haven't seen 2461 come up, but it probably will sooner or later.

K-9 car was just on and dispatcher told him he was on the wrong channel. I didn't look quickly enough at ProCom to see what he was on and what he switched to.

Has anyone heard the Tollway cars?

Looks like 2C could be coming up into southern Elbert and southern Lincoln.

Yeah nothing has changed with ESU.

Elbert is covered by 1C, Lincoln and Kit Carson is covered by 3B by posts in Limon and Burlington

They've told us eventually the radios will be re-programed. So some TG should vanish, others many be created.

On a sidenote, 10E cars are evidence techs, they are assigned to each district throughout the state.

FYI the revised map has some inaccuracies.

Lake county is now 4C (Craig), and southern Lincoln (south of Hwy 94) is 2C (Pueblo).

It's only updated to what Troop has confirmed has changed and it's not official. Only the official map (if released) will be 100% (or at least 99%) accurate.

I understand that, this thread is about redistricting, and these parts of the redistricting haven't been brought up yet.

I reread my reply and the tone came off as sort of hostile to myself. I'm sorry if that's how you read it as well as that was not my intention at all.

In the case of Boulder County 1D troopers were at U.S. 287 and Arapahoe on some type of enforcement so this gives some idea of what South Boulder County is considered at this point.

Now as far as what is happening in this thread. Patience. There will be something officially released by CSP as far as a troop area map is concerned. Until then getting anxious isn't going to make things move any faster. Relax,

As far as talkgroups go it's a work in progress. I agree do not delete any of the TG's in the database but definitely adjust any of the possible TG's for counties/areas that they serve. TG patching has been all over the place this past weekend..
