CSP Re-Districting coming soon
Long story short, here's the run down
1-A Golden/Idaho Springs
1-B E-470 Tollway
1-C Castle Rock with an Elbert county post
1-D Adams County (west Adams), with South Boulder Post (Broomfield), Watkins (covering east Adams)
1-Delta- Adams County Proactive Impact Team
1-E Gaming
3-B Now has the Limon/Burlington area
3-A Now covers the northern half of Boulder County
4-C Covers west of the tunnel
District 6 is eliminated
Should be going into effect on March 1st
They say this is effective March 1st but who knows

Hi Troop, will Larimer & Weld Counties stay the same. Larimer I think is 3C and Weld 3A.

What about Summit and Clear Creek if Troop 6 is gone?

3A/3C will stay the same with the exception of 3A taking on north boulder County.
Clear Creek will be a post of 1-A, and the summit side goes to 4C

Hmmmm, sounds a lot like 1970 all over again...or maybe a 60s flashback. Looks a lot like the map before 6 was created except for Boulder county covered by Dist 3 and Limon was Dist 1.
Is 3B Fort Morgan now? When I worked there, Sterling was 3B and it is long way from there to Limon.

Yep that's what I was thinking...the Division 6 and 3 days where Adams county was a post. Morgan/Sterling is still 3B, shouldnt be much different than being a 1A west car under the old system and having to drive to Limon or Burlington for stuff

Is there a new map available yet?
Makes sense for Summit County to be dispatched by Craig anyways.

That's what I was thinking. The western part of Dist 1 was so good of an operation when Joe Relihan was running it. All his work to get civilian med flights to replace the MAST flights on 38.4 and 38.5 mHz etc. Then Dist. 6 was carved out and along comes Dale Penner. Half the time he wouldn't answer the dispatcher on 154.695. Someone else will have to tell the story of why he wouldn't answer.
I hope it's a good move for CSP and saves taxpayers some $$.
CRCC's going to get even busier on the snow days.

What happens to the dispatchs? Seems mainly the Troop 6 ones get eliminated and swallowed up and no new ones really made (except 1E) so wouldn't expect too many changes.

Old 6A I-70 Enforcement Zone still using VHF F5 for ops, but also starting to use 800 Simplex 1. I have heard both in the same day. 800 in the morning and VHF in the afternoon.

Re: CSP Re-Districting coming soon
So what about talk groups? Seems like I'm hearing the Jeffco cars on the 6A channel still and not on 1A. Will this be changing?

1A & 1C using 2381 and 2401
1D & 1 Delta using 2305
1D goes as far east as Strasburg on I-70.
2459 and 2477 patched.
