Default NOAA weather at Mead off the air

Last 2 days when I push the button for Wx scan anywhere between Longmont and Ft. Collins I've been hearing the Laramie station.

Mead is off the air.

Thanks.

I'll check again on the way home.

Was only getting signal on 162.55.

Got my scanner back from being on loan. Restored my own program from Vscanner but maybe something is messed up on the weather channels.........

162.55 was gone last night, is back on this morning with a noticeable 60hz hum, but that has now been fixed also. Funny it went out right during the biggest storm so far this year.

Yes. I think they fixed it between my driving to work (0630) and lazierfan's response.
It was strong on the way home and I didn't do anything to my radio.

Where is 162.475 located at? That's the strongest station I can get.

If the list is still right that's Mead-

NWR Stations Listing for Colorado

When it was out I was hearing Wyoming on 162.55 if I heard any station at all.

Just a guess but I think WFO is Weather Forecasting Office.

Mead 162.475 is booming in here in Longmont again. Must have been temporary.

In fact, from here, I register NOAA on
162.4 Greeley
162.45 Ft Collins
162.475 Mead
162.5 Deer Trail? Dunno. Will have to listen for auto-ID sometime.
162.525 Fort Morgan
162.55 Denver
