I-70 closed in Evergreen

Major car wreck at the top of Floyd Hill (my wife 1st car to NOT get hit, thank God!), east bound. My wife said at least 6 cars involved, with a kid who was outside one of the cars got hit.

Evergreen Fire, Gilpin EMS, Clear Creek enroute, Summit county enroute for mutual aid.

L/G 1 enroute from Denver.......

My wife said that there was a person waving @ cars, trying to get them to slow down. She slowed down, and a car went flying past her at 80-90mph and rear-ended a mini-van (who was already involved in the crash). She was able to get to the shoulder of the road when another vehicle hit the pile.

As of now, they are sending cars down the hill in the east bound lanes and sending them up US 40

Sounds like all EMS/Fire/Rescue have cleared the scene.
I don't think the highway is open yet however, probably picking up the mess.....
