Adams County TalkGroups of all varieties are showing up on a random basis. Could be radio techs or users pushing buttons and ending up on the new system.

It appears that the radio techs are keeping it simple by duplicating the DTRS TG ID's for the new system.

Just add the new system, Zone and presto!

I wonder if the November 15th go live date for ADCOM is still anticipated or if it has been delayed to the end of the month?

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...lB4z9xJeHfwKQg

I'm curious if anyone has heard an actual conversation on this system yet? I assume our scanners will be able to receive at least part of this system properly...

Just noticed that a comment was added about agencies moving the the FRCC system. One of the agencies listed is Boulder County... is this existing DTRS users (i.e. Longmont)?

How about Arapahoe County? SO? Local PDs?

According to their STA filing here, it is Dec 1.

Very good information. Thank you!
https://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsEntry/a...Ind=applAttach

I just noticed it also states the application has been dismissed as of Nov. 14th!
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/Appl...applID=7949178

The previous application appears to have been dismissed as well Nov. 8th:
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/Appl...applID=7931123

Dismissed means the following: FCC action terminating processing of an application that is determined to be defective or otherwise not in conformance with the Commission's rules. If an application is dismissed, the applicant may be entitled to refile under applicable rules, but the refiled application will be treated as a new application. Dismissal of an application is distinct from denial of an application, which may occur if an application is contested. An application will be dismissed when the application is not grantable on its face. An application will be denied even if it is grantable on its face, if the Commission determines that grant of the application would not be in the public interest.

The problem is they are on a working system now. If there was a major problem with coverage and dead spots the FCC would look at it differently. There STA statement just says who they are and really does not say much more then that. For that reason they need to wait out the normal license process and not be in such a big hurry to make the move unless maybe the vender is holding the steering wheel then that changes everything. $$$

Here is an interesting article regarding Weld County's FCC licenses:
EWA Asks FCC to Reconsider Weld County, CO Coordination | Enterprise Wireless Alliance

Also found this on a Google search. Looks like ADCOM911 is requesting a temporary waiver from the FCC

Yep. STAs are generally over-requested and over-granted.

Looks like Douglas County is putting in 700 MHz as well. Will probably be the start of their FRCC system. Here is a link to the FCC filing.

Doesn't look like it will be an FRCC site based on the 700 MHz RPC letter that is attached to the filing. They explicitly state in there that it will be connected to the statewide radio system, which implies DTRS to me.

It looks like this will be a three site simulcast system with sites at West Creek, near the Perry Park airport in Larkspur (likely at the Raspberry Butte site nearby) and at the end of Elk Park Rd just north of Palmer Lake. Definitely areas where DTRS is lacking right now and it's nice to see simulcast becoming a popular design choice.
