Default Arvada P25 / Site 2121 Testing

FYI- Arvada's P25 site is no longer in Site Trunking Mode & techs are starting to test. For those who record we might be able to ID a few talkgroups during the testing phase.

Also, Rckydenver was kind enough to send me some audio he recorded on this site. Techs were heard talking about pallets of radios.... I am guessing we will start to see more activity on this site fairly soon.

The TableID=8 entry in the trunking table has slots=2. Is this an indication of Phase-2?

Look for them to go live phase 1 and transition to phase 2 within about 6 months.

Is Lakewood and Westy expected to switch to phase II during the same time frame? Does anyone know?

No on Lakewood - not likely with Westy in the immediate future.

Seeing lots of Talkgroup affiliations in the 380XX-385XX range today. Guessing this will be Arvada's block of IDs

Also looks like this site may be restricted to Arvada & Mutual Aid talkgroups:
Wheat Ridge PD = Denied
West Metro Fire = Denied
Network First = Allowed

I think you'll notice a much more conservative approach to loading the sites on this system vs. DTRS. Much less likely to see busies routinely or on typical snow days.

Hearing some radio testing going on. Seems to being going thru the Arvada Fire TAC Ch. I miss the 38151 but guessing that would be TAC 2.

TG 38150- Arvada Fire
TG 38152- Arvada Fire TAC 3
TG-38153-Arvada Fire TAC 4
TG-38154-Arvada Fire TAC 5

Sounds like the public works has made the switch over today or at least being the testers, kinda like what they did on the Westy system. Not sure what TG's are what yet, but it starts on 38200, most comm's that are being talk on 38202.

If anyone is tune into Arvada P25 sounds like the Arvada Fire move over to they new system. So far I've heard the TG 38150 Arvada Fire Dispatch and TG 38151 is Susie aka Lola. Also seeing the network first on there as well like TG-2289 as green one and so on. Came home from work last night at 11:15 and heard the fire department on here.

Also to add from yesterday when they where testing for the Arvada Fire more added TG's

TG 38160-Arvada Training Channel
TG 38161-Arvada Training TAC 2
TG 38162-Arvada Training TAC 3
TG 38163-Arvada Training TAC 4
TG 38164-Arvada Training TAC 5

Only able to confirm what I've heard is TG-38202 on this sounds like Arvada Public works Street Maintence, talk on this was doing pot hole repair and street signs.

We may need to go back and confirm some of the tac channels for Arvada Fire. Right now we have two different ID blocks for the tac channels:
38151-38154 Tac 1 thru 5
38161-38164 Tac 1 thru 5

Could one of these blocks be fireground and the other tac?

Good question Steve!!

Per the testing yesterday the 38160 thru 38164 where Training Ch, what they call from 161 to 164 where TAC Ch. *I was typing this has you just posted above this.

But yeah, on the 38152 to 38155 could be as Fire ground Channels. And as heard on TG-38151 is Susie aks Lola auto dispatch surprise that this one is not 38150 and 38151 being FD dispatch ch. But so far there just using 38150 and 38151. Hoping dispatch would say go to a fire ground channel.

Now seeing TG 64001 and TG 64002 be tested on, more curious what this could be?

Looks like your 536HP may come in handy for this. Have to try out the PSR-800.

Arvada PD made the switch over this am. Side note there is couple of Encrypted channels 38055 and 38057. Like Steve said above there has been testing on Phase 2.

38050-Arvada PD Dispatch
38051-APD Clearence Ch
