Police are saying Fire is requesting a mandatory evacuation in the 4100 block of Colorado Blvd

Tow truck now moving UPS truck - evacs still in place.

DENVER -- Denver Firefighters are evacuating four buildings near 40th and Colorado after a UPS truck crashed in the area.

Firefighters said the valve to a tank of propane was clipped.

After the evacuations, the tow truck will then get the UPS truck off the guardrail. Colorado is closed at this location.

Hazmat was also called to the scene because a small amount of propane is leaking.

Denver - Firefighters said the valve to the truck's propane tank was clipped so they are evacuating people nearby as a precaution.

After the evacuations, a tow truck will come in to get the UPS truck off the guardrail, which it currently sits on. A hazardous material team was also called to the scene because a small amount of propane was leaking.

Colorado is closed between 35th Avenue and 48th Avenue.It is not known what caused the truck to crash. The driver did not appear injured.
