Hotload?

I know this must seem like a stupid question, but if I don't ask, I will never know.

I just heard on 130.150 dispatch telling the other party that they would have to 'hot load'.

What does that mean?

It is regards to the helicopter not shutting off the blades while loading the patient. This method isn't the safest thing to do. The opposite would be cold load which is where they do shut down the spinning blades.
