Blackouts!

Most if not all of Northwestern Colorado was blacked out for about 20 minutes this morning. Aspen was out, and I heard CSP calling for traffic control in Edwards. Holy Cross and Xcel joined forces to restore things.

No idea if this is related to the rolling Xcel blackouts in Denver.

Xcel advising rolling blackouts of about 30 minutes will be effecting the entire state.

had a bunch of fire alam calls--water flow ect when power came back on...hope thats it for today

Don't know about rolling blackouts here, but eastern Clear Creek and Gilpin county had power outages this morning. Idaho Springs officer heard a trasnformer blow this morning too.
