Evergreen Fire?

Wildland fire page to the Beaver Brook area (Floyd Hill). Clear Creek Fire, as well as S.O. enroute.....

A firefighter I know said it's a grass fire...


If you want to listen...it should be Clear Creek "Green", "Yellow", and "Red" channels.
I probably won't hear much of what is going on because "Yellow" and "Red" are not repeated and I live to far away to hear them from the east end of the county.

I saw the fire (smoke) about 1PM today. After a lengthy job at the new Squa Mtn. ski area, heard the activity on the 96 in the work truck. Not sure what time it started, there were a lot of resources there at 1PM, more thru Evergreen from Elk Creek. Heard an update on Evergreen fire channel 6, it was contained to 1 acre at that time, media was showing up on Floyd Hill. Evergreen called for, and had, interagency support. The smoke was sparse, with an occational burst. Couldn't monitor from then to now (4:20PM), but the radio is quiet, assume under control.
