Focusing on C-470/Hwy-285 Soda Lakes Area male calling saying he's been shot and trying to avl his cell phone location.

Jeffco DTRS South Mtn 1405 is the command post, also using DPD Air 1 and a media chopper to search.

Also will dedicate my west feed http://www.live365.com/stations/jimmnn5 to the incident.

Now Lakewood added to the patch also and it's barely readable, very digital and broken.

MORRISON, Colo. -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who may have been involved in a home invasion who may be confused and disoriented.

The man has been calling the sheriff's office on a cell phone that has poor reception but is believed in the Turkey Creek, Soda Lakes, or Bear Creek Area around Morrison, Colo.

Authorities have not released a description of the man but said he may not be able to move. They have triangulated his possible position and have brought in all terrain vehicles to help search for him.

I'm hearing some related(?) at times on West Metro's DTRS 06-022 / TAC2.

Is West Metro's 04-015 / Mutual Aid channel involved?

Police question man after home-invasion robbery in Morrison

February 28, 2006
MORRISON - A man who allegedly was the target of a daylong manhunt following a home-invasion robbery called authorities late Monday after he learned from newscasts that Jefferson County sheriff's deputies were searching for him.
Sheriff's investigators were questioning the man who goes by the name of "Dylan" and who prompted deputies to launch a manhunt for him after he called 911 early Monday to say he was injured, sheriff's spokesman Jim Shires said.

Deputies had called off the search earlier in the evening before the man phoned.

Police officers and deputies found the man staying at a hotel in Lakewood near West Hampden Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard about four miles from where the robbery occurred, the spokesman said.

The individual had not been declared a suspect late Monday.

"Now the investigation is focusing on the home-invasion robbery," Shires said. "He's been taken to the sheriff's office to be interviewed to see what his involvement is, or to see if anyone else was involved."

Shires said residents of a home in the 17000 block of Colorado 8 fought with a man who tried to break into their house before sunrise.

Police said a man called 911 on a cellular phone about 6:30 a.m. from the area of the home and told dispatchers he was hurt and had lost feeling in his legs and feet. The man was not hospitalized Monday night.

Members of the Alpine Rescue Team and deputies searched the area around U.S. 285 and Colorado 8, where the man's phone signal was pinpointed.

The man used an older-model cell phone that made it difficult for searchers to determine his location, authorities said. Shires said the man last called the sheriff's office at 8:30 a.m. They said his phone battery appeared weak and likely died.

A Denver police helicopter and bloodhound searched the nearby valley and mountain area. Searchers on foot and on all-terrain vehicles later recovered some items stolen from the home near The Fort restaurant in Morrison.

The homeowners, two men and a woman, suffered minor injuries in the burglary and declined to be taken to a hospital.

The residents called authorities to report the attack around 2:30 p.m. Monday, Shires said. They told investigators they were too traumatized to call for help earlier.

They declined to comment Monday.
