Douglas County: 2634 South Castlewood Canyon Rd Brush fire with Franktown onscene and req ICP be set up and M/A from Parker, Larkspur, Castle Rock and Elizabeth. O/F DTRS, Online.

Open land so far no homes nearby.

OEM-1 now in command reporting 100 acres and active fire spread moving south southwest.

Requesting additional brush trucks mutual aid from South Metro and possibly Cunningham.

According to Lt. Alan Stanton of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, authorities got the first call about the fire at roughly 10:40 a.m. Saturday and the fire was 100% contained by 3:07 p.m.

The Franktown, Castle Rock, Larkspur, Elizabeth, Cunningham, Littleton, Parker and South Metro fire departments all had crews at this blaze.

The fire ended up burning 214 acres, no homes or structures were ever threatened.
