I just heard Thornton PD go to I-25 and 160th. on the bridge for a "jumper". This sounded like good listening so I locked on. Next thing I know the TPD dispatcher sent those units to "AD MAC" or "AD MACK" and things got real quiet. The main dispatching was going on their ch-2.

Before I could get into the database to look for this mystery ch, it was all over.

Anyone know what "AD MAC" or "AD MACK" is?????

I assume it is a multi use ADCOM ch.................

Or it might have been one of the states MAC channels so they could coordinate with Broomfield, Adcom, State and maybe even Weld.

it's ADMAC, most agencies that surround adams county and are on the state system have it. I've seen it used a couple of times to patch with CLEER so that Brighton Fire could land Airlife

All of our dept. radio's have this talk group, and my understanding is that this is used primarily for mutual aid within Adams County.
