153.785 again

I asked awhile back if anyone knew what 153.785 was.
I heard a couple of days ago "Loveland fire also enroute". There was more traffic, but that is what I remember.........

It's still used as a simulcast for Weld County South Fire Departments. If Loveland went also, it was probably for Johnstown?

What is with the people from other states, that feel the need to come to the Colorado forum and post info that anyone on here can figure out for themselves? By the way those listings were not for the whole state...... I guess my question is what makes this info usefull if you are not even in the same state and don't know anything about it...

They seem to have inactive local state lists so they propagate ours after doing excellent Google, FCC and NWS searches.

Now just don't ask any of them where Platteville or LaSalle really is, or more importantly what those communities are like.

Pretty simple 153.785 has been and is Weld County South area fire departments, remember www.radiohacker.com Phil's ..local.. list which is an excellent source of accurate information and not just an FCC database search, which are highly suspect.

What's up with all the haters lately?

Yooper was definitely hearing Weld Fire A 153.785.

Although everyone in the Southern part of the county is DTRS some of the station houses still use their VHF base stations to talk to dispatch. Johnstown does that quite frequently so MikeyB was correct in his observation.
