I was monitoring Colorado Springs Airport (KCOS) departure frequency 124.0 when I start hearing a digital burst tone, then someone started talking, sounded like a business. Has anyone else heard this ?

Sounds like an image frequency getting into your scanner. What scanner are you using?

Radio Shack 2006. I am thinking that also, some multiple of 124.0 mhz. Tonight, I am also picking up a digital burst on 122.950 mhz. I tuned my Icom IC-A24 transceiver to 124.0 mhz and 122.950 mhz and did not hear the broadcast.

Wow. Definitely not normal for the PRO2006 scanner at all.

All I can suggest is search VHF/UHF/800/900 ranges with another radio when you are getting hit with this to find the culprit.
