The more the better as far as I'm concerned, especially on a vacation week. Lots of melting today and tomorrow also with temps in the mid 50's.

sounds like round 2 coming up later Thursday into Friday. Who's excited?
Funny reading newswire stuff that retail sales of winter stuff is down and people complaining it's too nice this winter due to global warming and el nino.

Wonder why we're getting punished all at once this season?

And Just in time for going back to work. Wonderful.

A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect from noon on Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday for a large area, including the metro area, the Eisenhower Tunnel, Boulder and Estes Park.

There could be between 1 and 2 feet of snow across the Front Range mountains and foothills by early Friday morning. Up to 30 inches could fall in the foothills of Boulder and Jefferson County.

Bring it on

Statement as of 10:02 PM MST on December 27, 2006

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 12 PM Thursday to
6 am MST Friday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 12 PM Thursday to
6 am MST Friday.

Snow will develop early Thursday afternoon and will become heavy
at times late Thursday afternoon and evening. Snowfall rates in
excess of 1 inch per hour will be possible... with total
accumulations of 8 to 18 inches expected by early Friday morning.
The heaviest amounts will be west of I-25. North winds increasing
to 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph will produce minor
blowing and drifting snow.

More accumulating and possibly heavy snowfall is possible Friday
into Saturday. Winds may also increase at that time.

Remember... a Winter Storm Warning means hazardous winter weather
conditions are imminent or highly likely. Significant snow
accumulations are occurring or expected... which would make travel
very hazardous or impossible.

It's a new live action television show that switches between TV channels 9 and 20 from 4:30 A.M. to midnight.

Interesting Round 1 dumped more than we got (out here on the "flat" lands) than all of last year combined.
