anybody know what BCSO was doing?

Does anybody know what Boulder County Sheriff's Office was doing on the diagonal? I was riding on the bus, had my 2m HT with me,never turned it on because I am sure nobody would want to hear cops talking. It seemed they had the railroad blocked for some reason from 63rd and Diagonal (Longmont bound) to IBM Drive/Highway 52 and Diagonal. I couldn't figure out why they were doing that.

Railroad crossing malfunction. BCSO and Boulder Emergency Squad were dealing with traffic. From radio traffic I heard, it caused a real mess.
